The solution is very simple, water. Water can help those countries so much to improve most deaths from water-borne diseases. Donating just the smallest bit of money can help the countries so much. Wells happen to be very expensive. They can be $7,800 in Uganda to $20,000 in Kenya. I raised my dollar by explaining to my aunt the situation with water in some countries like Kenya and Uganda. I explained to her that they have to drink and bath in dirty water. I told her that they have to walk over 3.75 miles just to find that nasty water. And walk back home carrying a heavy gallon. They spend half of their day walking to find water that they don't have time for and education or a job.
Now I am trying to not waste a lot of water specially because we are in a drout. I have learned to take water as a blessing because its fresh and clean. Water is a very important thing in life. Water we drink, shower in, wash hands with ,etc... I believe that we should take care of water. I will start to take care of water by not letting the faucet run while I brush my teeth. I will also shorten my shower time.
Throughout the world there are many places without clean water to drink and shower with. 80% of all global diseases are water-borne and result from drinking contaminated water. These diseases kill more than 2.2 million people every year. What’s worst is that the water is there. The problem is that certain countries can’t afford to drill down to the ground to make a freshwater well.
